App of the week: Juxtaposer
Want to add a little unique flair to your Instagram photos? Have friends double take at your shots with a little work using Juxtaposer. The app first caught my attention after TheNextWeb shared a detailed look at the #instababs craze started by DJ Babu (instagram name: djbabuforeal) along with some info on which apps can be used to create this technique.
The process can be timely, but with a mix and mash of tools, you can create some very interesting results. The above photo was pulled together while on a trip to Miami using four different photos composited with Diptic and layering in extra birds using Juxtaposer.
Although some Instagram purists dislike the use of outside tools, I’ve always enjoyed seeing how far users can take the platform beyond tilt-shift and the preset filters. What apps do you use to edit your Instagram photos?
